Hi Annie,

Since I've long been looking for apps to safely store and transfer private
data and files on to my iPod, is the following the app you are referring to?

iExplorer
By Zhigang Chen
$5
Compatibility: Requires iOS 6.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and
iPod touch. This app is optimized for iPhone 5.

Description
With iExplorer (for iPhone) , you can manage/view files on your remote
servers (Windows sharing server/FTP server/WebDAV server/OneDrive/Live
Mesh/Google Docs/CloudMe/DropBox/Box.Net ...) in home, office and anywhere.
iExplorer also is a good eBook reader, media player, photo viewer, and work
assistant. You can read CHM, ePub, PDF and large text/PDB files with
outline/bookmark/annotation support, play musics and movies without copying
them to your device, view large photos on your PC/NAS and share to friends,
edit spreadsheets on your Google Docs and save them as different formats,
print any viewable documents.
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/iexplorer/id307733225?mt=8

I like that this app supports the following password protected utilities
such as 7zip and Rar archiver:
* Zip & Unzip files on local or NAS server/FTP server, support passcode
protected zip/7zip/rar files

If this is an accessible app, and if it does indeed support 7zip, this is
great because my goal is to place zipped archive files with important
information in my Dropbox to then transfer to my iDevice. Once in my
iDevice, I can use this app to enter my long password to open the 7zip
archive and move my personal data to relevant apps. Please let me know if
this is not possible as I'd hate to throw away $5. <Smile>.

Joseph

I downloaded and purchased a program called iexplorer, because I had some
files I couldn't get out of my IPad, that worked very well, and I was
surprised how much I could do with that program.

Best regards Annie.
