Sorry, I was not very clear. I was talking about the initial upgrade; on older 
devices, the first release of a new iOS number can be slow or cause other 
problems. Yes, by the time the next big update comes out (the x.1 version) 
things are generally fine. I just meant that, for 4S users, upgrading the day 
of the iOS8 release is probably not a great idea. Things may be fine, but I'd 
wait a bit to make sure before upgrading.
