In a word: wireless. The corded models have, well, a cord, so you plug them in
like any other headphones. They are cheaper, but must remain connected to your
device via a physical cable. The bluetooth model (Bluez) are wireless, letting
you get audio with no wires. You can leave your iOS device in a pocket or bag,
or charging across the room, or out of the way, and still hear audio. I
personally prefer the Bluez for that convenience, but if wireless is not
important to you, don't waste the money. Any headset (including both types of
Aftershokz) that has media controls can be used to control the latest version
of Blindsquare, so either one should work for that purpose. Again, though, the
convenience of not having a cable to get tangled in a cane or dog leash is
really great. Plus, simply because of how they work, you'll have to charge the
internal battery for both the wired and wireless models, so getting the wired
one will not save you from having to remember to plug the headset in every so
often.
