I am wanting to synchronise my email across Microsoft Outlook 2010 and my IPhone 5. Specifically, I'm wanting to set up the system so if I delete or file an email on one device it is reflected on the other device. Ideally, I would have the same file structure on both devices. I subscribe to a number of lists and am also wanting these automatically saved into folders. If I want this to happen on both Windows and the iPhone, am I better to use Gmail webmail to do the filtering? I am happy to use/purchase a third party app if you know it will help in this process. Also, slightly off topic, I have set up rules in Microsoft Outlook but they don't seem to be running automatically. Is there a way I can have them running automatically? I have set the message format to IMAP. Might this be part of the problem? Your advice on any of this would be much appreciated.
