I am using outlook 2013, and my mail syncs just fine on my phone and in
outlook. There use to be a plug in you needed for outlook called outlook plus
or hotmail plus. Can't remember the exact name, but I don't think it is
necessary any more. I also filter mail in to folders on the outlook website,
and it reflects on the iPhone and in outlook, as well as as apple mail on the
mac. The thing I like about outlook mail, as well as yahoo that gmail does not
have, is you can pick the folders in mail on the iPhone that you want
notifications for. Wish gmail had that. Anyway, you should be able to set
this up with no issues. If you need any help, my contact info is below.
iMessage is where you will get the fastest reply. HTH
