Maybe it's just me, but I found Apple's Podcasts app to be really confusing compared to Downcast. I guess it goes without saying that I much prefer Downcast over Podcasts. I will say that it took me a bit to figure out that in Downcast, you have to go to the downloads tab and enable be download queue before podcast episodes that you've told Downcast to download will start to do so.
