Anthony, In the case of iOS 8 I could think of quite a few reasons. If somebody is not very tolerant when it comes to dealing with bugs and they rely heavily on using a bluetooth keyboard for example this would be a valid reason. Yes, new softsware (and old software) will always have some bugs, but it is definiterly true that iOS 8 at this point has more than we are used to. It is also true that a number of blind beta testers have let Apple know about Voiceover related bugs as far back as June when the first beta came out and some of the issues which were reported 3 months ago have not been fixed.
I hope people are not only complaining but do take the time to write to accessibil...@apple.com to report bugs they encounter and that the increase in these reports will finally put Apple into action and they will start to fix the problems.
