Yes, I know that it is a 3th typing mode in IOs8. But I don’t understand how is it. It is what I am asking, how it works. I know standard typing, and touch typing working with IOs 7, but I don’t know the 3th mode of typing that comes with IOs 8. Again, my question is, how works direct touch typing. The description of Teresa, I just couldn’t understand. She said, It is like typing on a keyboard. I can figure out how is it. I mean, on a touch screen, typing like we do on a keyboard, is going to be hard been blind. On our keyboards we can feel the keys, but maybe I am misunderstanding the Teresa description. Again, I need more details about how works direct touch typing on IOs 8.

Even on the iPhone, which doesn't have nearly as much space in which to position either or both hands, I can make good use of the direct typing function with one or two fingers at a time. It's just like anything else, it comes with a learning curve, and as always, it's not for everyone. Personally, I have no use for inputting text via a virtual braille keyboard, as I just can't get used to scrunching my fingers into such a small place, and I really do prefer tactile buttons pressing underneath my fingers, but I think the concept is cool and I am glad there are folks who can make use to it. :-) As for me and braille input, I'll stick to the braille display.
