as advertised, that's just a matter of consumer law and good faith.
Apple is one of the world's wealthiest companies, with sufficient
money to throw at improving their testing process. It needs to be
done, and we do them no favours by giving them a free pass on what is
a series of serious errors. People in all kinds of professions rely on
these devices. If the narrative develops that the devices can't be
relied on anymore, Apple are sunk.

FYI, Apple has just pulled the update. You can no longer get it; I
imagine it will be re-released soon with a fix for the problems on
the iPhone6.

However, I've heard that some users are losing cell service and that
the update also breaks touch ID. I think I'll wait!
