The Edge plan allows you to pay off the phone in installments. In other
words, you are on a plan which costs you X number of dollars per month. Then
when you purchase the phone you pay off the phone in 24 installments on top
of what your plan costs. In other words, the cost of the new phone is broken
up over 24 months. Call Verizon, they're very good about explaining about
this possibility.

Hi Kyle
Thanks for being helpful
What is the edge plan if you know about it, as I have not heard of it until
now.
I would only need one line on it and so does it break up the payments then
on the phone that you are interested in getting?
I really would like to get me a 6 as I hear they are a lot nicer.
But I wonder how much the monthly plan would end up costing.
Work won't allow me to use their wi fi.
