Screen input in Braille does not support eight-dot mode. The Voiceover hint says, "put at most three fingers on either side of the screen. The setting is in Seettings, general, Accessibility, Voiceover, Braille, Screen input mode. Unless this is a 64-bit feature, I don't find it on my iPod 5G.
