None of them work properly yet due to a conflict with VoiceOver's direct
touch and third party keyboards. You add a third party keyboard like you
would add a built in keyboard that comes with the OS. Settings general
keyboards add keyboard. To use it you double tap next keyboard in any
text field until the third party keyboard is activated. However as said
none of them work properly yet. MBraille will not be a third party
keyboard because, and don't quote me on this, Apple does not allow third
party keyboards to go full screen which MBraille does since the dots
take up the entire screen. This I heard from the developer Harry
himself. This is how Apple's Braille Screen Input was born. I love it
personally and editing is a breeze; just use the standard edit functions
built into iOS with the addition of a two finger scrub to get out of
Braille Screen Input.

Can we turn this upside down for a minute, does anyone know how third party
keyboards are meant to work, how do you select and operate them?
I ask, as it begs the question why iOs braille input didn't get done like
that.
mBraille as a keyboard alone would be a very different beast to the app it
currently is. the editing and text navigation are as much a part of its
benefit as the braille input itself. So how much of that would also get
provided?... and the short answer suggest none; it is or would be just the
text input, and handle the text input field in the normal way.
has anyone tried any third party keyboard yet?

Subject: mBraille as a third party keyboard
Greetings,
I heard back from the developer of mBraille about him making mBraille
available as a third party keyboard.
His response was, "maybe, I have not ruled it out."
So, I'm not sure exactly what that means, but I'd encourage anyone who would
like to see that happen to write to him and let him know.
I went through his website contact form, but his address is:
