All of which will probably spur me on to bite the bullet and get an iPad Mini. 
You're probably right, Sieghard: it wouldn't surprise me if iPod Touch is 
discontinued. I'm used to Alex on the Mac, and he accommodates my slight 
hearing loss very well. For that and other reasons, it's probably a good idea 
to upgrade my hardware. :)
