It’s really too bad that your interpretation of the list rules somehow affords
you special permission to post such unkind remarks about Sieghard on this or
any list. There are polite ways to disagree with another list members opinion
without being snarky. I’m really not interested in your pointless attacks on
list members whose opinions differ from yours. If you thought what you wrote
about Sieghard made you look smart and oh so witty, it really came across as
very shallow and nasty.

I can’t tell you the number of times Sieghard has sent me information off list
that has been accurate and very helpful. Additionally, I can’t tell you how
many times he has offered to work with people off the list to solve problems.
Very important is, I have never seen someone write to the list and say the
information Sieghard provided was incorrect, created additional problems, or
just shut their device down.

Regards,

Lynda

Sieghard ,

This is the reason I almost always delete your messages without reading them.

You are full of misguided opinions and misinformation.

The running joke in my household is when voice over announces "Sieghard "
everyone here says 'Delete".

This is from the developers of Fleksy:

What about the Apple third-party keyboard warning message when allowing Full
Access?

When you allow full access, you will encounter a warning message stating "full
access allows the developer to transmit anything you type, including things you
have previously typed with this keyboard. This could include sensitive
information such as your credit card number or street address." This alert
appears whenever any third-party input method is allowed full access. Fleksy is
designed NOT to receive or log such sensitive data.

Here’s how:

§ Fleksy can collect three types of data:

§ Crash Data, including crash logs, in an anonymous format.

§ Settings Data such as setting preferences, gesture usage, and number of
words typed with Fleksy.

§ Language Modeling Data such as common phrases or words that you use when
typing with Fleksy.

§ We never collect any type of data without your explicit permission.

§ Language Modeling Data collection is disabled by default for all our
products, and is not enabled during the installation process.

§ We do not log data entered into password or credit card fields.

§ When a user voluntarily opts in to supply Language Modeling Data to us, we
always encrypt it both for transmission and storage, and host it in third party
hosting facilities with industry leading security infrastructure.

§ We do NOT link any Language Modeling Data with your name, phone number,
email address, or any other personal identifier.

§ Language Modeling Data is only used in anonymous format to help improve
Fleksy’s product and services. It is NOT sold, licensed or otherwise provided
to third parties.

You can read more about data collection and full access in our
<http://fleksy.com/privacy-ios> Privacy Policy.

Hi Chuck and others,

I don't know if you get the same warning when you install Fleksie, but on the
last Today in iOS episode, Rob mentioned that when you install some third party
keyboards a rather worrysome message is displayed. According to this message,
you give the developer of these keyboards "full access" to anything that is
typed on said keyboards and the warning for one popular keyboard called "Swift
Key" includes this:
"allows the developer of this keyboard to transmit anything you type…”

Interestingly enough the keyboards mentioned didn't even include Fleksie and I
wonder how popular Fleksie really is. Here is the link to another article about
this, but I certainly would not install a keyboard where I got such a message.
I have an iPhone because I like how secure it is so then why would I allow some
developer whom I don't know from a hole in the ground to have access to
everything I might type on their keyboard including potentially credit card
numbers and so on. I think maybe that is the reason why Apple defaults to their
system keyboard for passwords and so on.

Fleksy will be a great keyboard, once they get the bugs out of IOS8. Here's a
