You can even go to the site on your PC to delete it and that works. I just did it yesterday but it was only in the cloud and NOT on my phone so I am not sure why there is any need to fret about it. If you don't want to listen to it you don't have to!

You can use any browser that you have installed on the device, it does not
have to be safari. I just said Safari because that is the native browser on
the device. It is not hard at all to remove it, takes very little time or
effort.

It sounds like a lot of trouble to remove it, I never use safari. They
should have never assumed and put it on the devices but I know, we have
been down that road before.

No, I think it just stopped being free.

I want to remove the U2 album from my phone but I cannot delete it in
iTunes with the phone connected. The archives quoted someone saying to
remove it this way on the phone,

" Just go to music, artists and u2. Then flick up with 1 finger to get to
delete and double tap."

But flicking up with one finger only moves me between artists. What more
specifically needs to happen? (Using ios8.1)
