Tab until it asks to sync entire library and make sure it is not checked. Make sure sync selected playlist artists, and genres is checked. However, I can't remember how to select some items of music and not others and, whilst my PC (with Jaws) will say "Selected" if I shift+down arrow, I don't recall this was the way to do it in ITunes and when I go back to check what I've selected, it seems I have nothing selected.
