Hi, I can’t say for certain but I think Richard is right if the Kindle app follows the model of the audible app owned by the same company. Your app will show you which books you had downloaded to your device in the downloaded section of your library and then provide you with the means of downloading them once again to your new device. So you won’t have to recall which books you had or didn’t have on your device. Robin

So, once you sign in with your new device, you can see all the books. You would have to download them again I think unless a encrypted backup would restore them to your new phone. I’ve not done that, so can’t say. I’m ready now to get my iphone 6, but have a question about the kindle ap. How do I preserve all the books I currently have downloaded on my phone? I was in my kindle library last night from my computer, but couldn’t see how I would transfer the books to a new device. I don’t want to lose all those books. If I have to put them in the cloud, how do I do that? Denise -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list. All new members to the this list are moderated by default.
