Never had a problem with this. I always use the control+I command, but the affect should be the same. Sometimes, I’m placed in the summary tab, but I just do a control+tab to get to the information part and tab down from there to get to the edit field that I wish to fill in.
If all else fails, you could try a tagging program. I use MP3tag to edit my music files before importing them into iTunes for example. I admit I am stumped. I have an album that imported from a CD with the wrong title. I have not figured out how to edit that. I get into the album and bring up the context menu and select get info. I say yes to editing multiple items. I’ve tried clicking on details, but the title of the album is a static box that doesn’t allow editing. Anyone know how to do this?
