All you need is the iOS built-in clock, which has a timer feature. The easiest way to get to it is to open the control center, then double tap on the clock app which is in the bottom row, the timer is often the default selection, but if it isn't it is in the lower right. Double tap on it so it is selected. Then, explore the screen, and you will find an hours setting and a minutes setting, then a button that says something like when timer ends, if you double tap on that, it will open a screen of sounds but the last item on that screen says "stop playing" double tap on that and then find the "set" button in the upper righthand corner and double tap that. Then go back to either the hours or minutes and touch the one you want to change and do a single finger flick up or down to get to the amount of time you want. Then, double tap on the start button. Now, go back to BARD and start playing your book and when the timer ends, the book should just stop playing. You will find the next time you go to the clock timer, it will remember your last setting.
