I am wondering if this might be a bug with your phone or if anyone else has
seen this bug
Thanks

Hi all, I can confirm that Voice Over doesn't perform as well with IOS8.11 when
handling more than one language, on my IPod Touch 5 gen., when I change
language on the roter from English to French, the speech rate becomes a lot
faster and when I go back to English UK, my default language, the rate is even
faster and sets itself to American English.
The speech rate hasn't been changed in the Voice Over settings however,
cranking it up a bit and resetting it to my preferred speed settles matters
until I change the language again.
The automatic language doesn't change automatically on the web as it used to
either.
Minor bugs really, especially when you can go round them as easily as this, but
bugs all the same, and disappointing to find out that something that used to
work flawlessly doesn't anymore in a supposedly improved version of the IOS.
Just my 2 Euro-scents on this matter.
All the best,
Marie
