Hi, On the ipad, because the screen is larger, the list of your messages in the chosen mailbox is always visible on the screen on the left handside. The larger portion of the screen displays the content of the message. Then in a small strip at the top and bottom of the screen, you have some buttons which do various things. It took me a while to get used to this. What I do normally, is double-tap the message which I want to read, and then touch the screen in the larger portion on th right. I hear Voiceover say “message” and I can read the content using normal gestures. If I’m done with the message, I either delete it using the delete button above the body of the message, or move my finger to the left edge of the screen to choose another message. With practice you are sure to get used to finding the body of the message quickly. The use of the container rotor item works well as well but I find it faster to touch the body of the message which takes voiceover focus into that part of the screen and away from the message list.
Hope this will help somewhat. Andrew > On 4 Dec 2014, at 01:34, Ryan Mann <rmann0...@gmail.com> wrote: > > How do people deal with the iPad split screen using VoiceOver?
