Hello Community,
I am an engineer and I am using Catia v5 as a primary tool for my Machine
engineering projects. I am also a semi-experienced Linux user. Unfortunately
CATIA v5 runs primary on Windows(prefered XP) and in rare cases on AIX.
As long as I know the standard VNC application cannot handle good screen
sharing when CATIA is running. I am primary looking for a collaboration
tool which will help me share my screen and discuss with a distant user my
work in CATIA. Of course those functions need to be performed under descent
quality and speed of the stream. Taking control over one's screen or
administrative privelleges are not required.
My question is how can I adopt the VirtualGL project for my purposes under
windows or some other means with additional linux machine? Am I on the right
track at all?
Thank you
Greetings
Tish
