This file exists in the following location on my Debian test machine:

router:/# uname -a
Linux router 2.6.22-3-486 #1 Mon Nov 12 07:53:08 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux
router:/# find . -name libldap_r.so.2 -print | more
./usr/lib/libldap_r.so.2

What Linux distribution are you using and have you attempting to search for
this file on the machine or might ldap be a specific package that needs to
be added to installation ?

Please also provide the output from the installer during this installation
process so we can see where the error is occuring ...
