Hi André,

I'm using the same installation like you.
I compiled the VOS Version on an ubuntu 64bit system.

Go to your installation directory. There you find a folder called 'bin'.
All binarys are placed there, you need the file virtuoso-t.
A simple run can be done like this(do all steps in normal terminal):
Go to the bin folder and type following:
./virtuoso-t -c ../var/lib/virtuoso/db/virtuoso.ini
(this ini file is a example you can use)

virtuoso should now start.
to check if server is running, try the following command in a
shell(terminal):
netstat -ntpl

if there is a process listening on port 1111 the database server is
running
port 8890 is the default for the webinterface, you can conntect like
this (your browser addressbar: http://localhost:8890)
