Which EC2 AMI instance type are you using as looking at your virtuoso
log the version of the server is:
Version 05.09.3037-pthreads for Linux as of Jan 7 2009
Whereas I just started a 32bit AMI instance and performed a yum
update which resulted in the following Virtuoso Server update:
Version 05.09.3037-pthreads for Linux as of Jan 27 2009
Thus can you provide the output of running the yum Update so we can
confirm this was actually successful ...

It sounds a little weird.
I'm advised that the EC2 build is out of date, so could you run a
quick `yum
update' and try it again please?
