Hugh, All,
Version is latest ( according to conductor UI, and then tried yum
again anyway just in case ). But problem is still there.
Anyway. Quickest way out would be to terminate the AMI and start from
scratch to see if that helps. But... this might be a bug somewhere so
we should try and figure out what's going on.
Problem might be on our side too, but I understand we didn't push the
envelope too far either, so understanding what went wrong might be
useful for us all later on.
Cristian. Can you think of a way to let OpenLink staff into the
machine w/o exposing the private key?
Otherwise, just share it ( there's nothing particularly valuable in
that machine and we can commission a new one afterwards )
You can try to create an account and upload a profile picture here:
http://www.univrz.com/ods/
( depending on when you read this email, server might or might not be up )
Thanks!
A
Aldo,
Simple resolution here:
Test the upload against http://demo.openlinksw.com/ods or
http://myopenlink.net/ods. If it works, then someone will return the
favor on our end using your instance.

Hi Cristian,
Which EC2 AMI instance type are you using as looking at your virtuoso log
the version of the server is:
Version 05.09.3037-pthreads for Linux as of Jan 7 2009
Whereas I just started a 32bit AMI instance and performed a yum update which
resulted in the following Virtuoso Server update:
Version 05.09.3037-pthreads for Linux as of Jan 27 2009
Thus can you provide the output of running the yum Update so we can confirm
this was actually successful ...
Best Regards
Hugh Williams

Hello,
I've tried yum update, but the problem still persists.
It happened too when i tried to move a file from one folder to
another, using the web GUI.
I have a virtuoso.log with the error log now, which is attached to
this message.

Hi,
It sounds a little weird.
I'm advised that the EC2 build is out of date, so could you run a quick `yum
update' and try it again please?
Thanks,
