Can you please shed more light at: what is the method in Virtuoso by which I may associate a graph group ? It will be great if you could point me to some links or illustrate by an example.
You create a graph group using:

DB.DBA.RDF_GRAPH_GROUP_CREATE ('{graph-group-iri}','');

Example:

DB.DBA.RDF_GRAPH_GROUP_CREATE ('urn:test:graph:group','') ;

You add a single Named Graph to a Graph Group using:

DB.DBA.RDF_GRAPH_GROUP_INS ('{graph-group-iri','named-graph-iri-for-graph-being-added-to-group') ;

Example:

DB.DBA.RDF_GRAPH_GROUP_INS ('urn:test:graph:group','http://kingsley.idehen.net/dataspace') ;

Note:

Graph Groups do not imply a five part index at lower level storage i.e., a quint index. Put differently, if you have the same graph iri associated with two or more groups, subsequent quad loads will add data to the same named graph and then normalize based on the four part index of rdf_quad.

    Actually I am performing benchmarking with virtuoso and by
    default certain graphs and quads are already present in it. And I
    am not able to delete them. Therefore I am curious if I could
    store all my quads in a separate place (like a super graph),
    which would allow me to perform benchmarking.

    You could associate them with a graph group.

    You can also use NOT FROM <graph-iri> in your queries which has
    the opposite effect of FROM .

    Also is there a way to delete all the default graphs and quads
    in virtuoso before loading new quads into it.

    Thanks a lot for helping

    You can clear any graph using: clear graph <graph-iri> .

        when I ran the following query I could see that the quads
        were indeed loaded:

        sparql select distinct ?g where{graph ?g{?a ?b ?c}};

        Listed all the graphs whoch were in dbpedia.nq (For example,
        if my quad is <a> <b> <c> <d>. Then the above given query
        gave <d>)

        However, the query given below gives no results:

        SQL> SPARQL select * from <http://localhost:8890/DAV/test1>
        where{?a ?b ?c};

        Can someone please help me by telling me the correct method
        of loading quads into virtuoso?
        I'll be highly thankful for the same.

        Also do I need to specify the name of the graphin
        dbpedia.nq.graph?

        Its been a lot of days since I have posted at the product
        support forum(). But I did not find any satisfiable answer.
        Therefore I am posting here. Hoping someone will help me out.

        This is because when processing Quads, the 4th element in the
        quad is treated as the Graph IRI (which is why your other
        query returned the expected result). In this case, graph IRI
        parameter of the bulk loader isn't being used. In this case,
        we should be using the graph IRI parameter to designate a
        graph group.
