Hi all ,
i'm using this tutorial[1] to install virtuoso server on my Ubuntu 12.04
machine
specifically :
1- got the source from git clone git://
github.com/openlink/virtuoso-opensource.git
2- reverted to last tag : git tags/v7.1.0
3- mentioned usr/local/ in the ./Config : ./configure
--prefix=/usr/local/ --with-readline
--program-transform-name="s/isql/isql-v/"
4- then build and install like the rest of the tutorial
the problem is after the install process , there's no directory
/usr/local/var/lib/virtuoso/db/ and no Virtouso.ini file created
running the server : virtuoso-t -fd
gives the following error : 03:14:41 ERROR: There is no configuration file
virtuoso.ini
how to check if the code was built correctly , and i wonder if it's a
common build problem or if the tutorial should be updated for virtuoso V7.1
