I made a long test with two hfc-4s board in the same linux box.

Telecom(NT1) -> TE channel -> Asterisk -> NT channel -> PBX

All the software is the most recent version (asterisk, kernel etc.etc.)

Since i am not a newbie i made a lot of tests with many
configurations, tryng to workaround all single problems.

Near all working but there is some problem:

1) when there is no audio from asterisk a strange "choppy" sound come
from the ISDN line or phone, this problem is deterministic, every time
the a sound is missing this sound come out.

2) at the NT side im not able to config a "simple switch", how is
possibile to do so? (simple switch is the "zaptel" switch -> ear a
"dial" tone (i need italian tone) and after digit the number and wait
connection)

3) when i use this cabling:

TELCO(ISDN) -> TE channel -> Asterisk -> NT channel -> PBX(TE)

I had some problem to route the call from outside to inside, the
strange is that the PBX is able to call out, but seem to be unable to
receive a call...

4) i made some test with this cabling

PBX(ISDN) -> TE channel -> Asterisk -> NT channel -> TE channel ->
Asterisk -> NT channel -> PHONE (one board full!) and also

All ok, working! (both direction, two call, all channels used)

PBX(ISDN) -> TE channel -> Asterisk -> NT channel -> TE channel ->
Asterisk -> NT channel -> TE channel -> Asterisk -> NT channel -> TE
channel -> Asterisk -> NT channel -> PHONE (all boards full!)

With this kind of configuration calling from the NT -> TE side all
working, calling from TE to the NT asterisk DIE.

I dont know if this kind of test is able to reveal a bug in the
driver, if needed i can reproduce the envirnonment and paste every
debug information needed.

I found the driver a very good work, le me know how is possibile to
help in development to reach the 1.0 version.

Thnks.
