We can name this project isdn-choppy.... I am for the second. :-) The first patch is right in intention but wrong in how doing the CUT of the buffer (why not to cut only the buffer to the right dimension and DO the write anyway?) The second patch is not clear, i think the first affect also the second, after doing the first patch the second problem disappear.... no, sometime disappear... :-) There is a need of someone more strong on the kernel side of visdn to solve two or tree bugs... :-)
