I tried with the new SMS sample from vihai:

Action: VGSMsmstx
To: +39339xxxxxxx
X-SMS-Module: tim
X-SMS-Class: 3
Content-type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
Content:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]#

It crashes!

I then retried once again, and I got the SMS on my phone, but:
a) The sms I've received shows between each letter an "ò". To give you
an essay, first words of the SMS look are these "Tòeòsòtò òUòTòFò-ò8ò
[...]".
b) asterisk crashed anyways

About the calls, I activated the debug mode and retried:

blackbox*CLI> debug vgsm module call
-- Accepting AUTHENTICATED call from 192.100.100.85:
       > requested format = ulaw,
       > requested prefs = (),
       > actual format = ulaw,
       > host prefs = (ulaw|alaw|gsm),
       > priority = mine
    -- Executing [EMAIL PROTECTED]:1] Dial("IAX2/1914-4",
"VGSM/tim/+39339xxxxxxx") in new stack
    -- Called tim
-- VGSM/tim/1 is proceeding passing it to IAX2/1914-4
vgsm: tim: Call disappeared from SLCC, requesting HANGUP
vgsm: tim: received hangup
vgsm: tim: Call released, location 'GSM cause for L3 Call Control',
cause 'Requested facility not subscribed'
vgsm: tim: received hangup done
== Everyone is busy/congested at this time (1:0/0/1)
    -- Executing [EMAIL PROTECTED]:2] Hangup("IAX2/1914-4", "") in
new stack
  == Spawn extension (from-iax, 339xxxxxxx, 2) exited non-zero on
'IAX2/1914-4'
    -- Hungup 'IAX2/1914-4'

About receiving calls from outside on the GSM module, I have this
situation on * CLI:

[May 17 14:28:12] NOTICE[13813]: module.c:3213 handle_unsolicited_cring:
Not a voice call, rejecting
[May 17 14:28:12] WARNING[13813]: module.c:3398 handle_unsolicited_clip:
Received +CLIP without an active call

And as soon as I read this, I hear the congestion/unavailable tone (fast
and frequent pulses, hope u get what I mean...)
Module should be ok, I see this:

blackbox*CLI> show vgsm modules
vodafone : READY REGISTERED_HOME "vodafone IT"

I've got a i386 CentOS 4.4 (kernel 2.6.9-42.ELsmp), asterisk 1.4.4,
vstuff-0.20.8, in case these infos are useful for you.

Thanks in advance!
