Hi Pavel. Thanks for responding!

I downloaded the command line client on the server and ran svn info [my
repository url] and I got no errors. All looks fine. Last Changed Author
= VisualSVN Server.

The URL I enter for AnkSVN and web browser is
http://[servername].[companydomain].local:8080/svn/Main/ As mentioned in
the prior email, right now I'm trying non-https and using port 8080. I got
the URL by right-clicking the "Main" repository and selecting Copy URL to
Clipboard. This was the configuration that worked earlier this week.

Event Viewer yields no recent errors, the ones listed were mistakes made
during setup. However, there are no entries since I posted my question,
even when I've connected unsuccessfully (bad creds) and successfully via a
browser. Is it supposed to log failed and successful connections? Here's
the most recent log since the last error:

Yes, that's the most recent: I am still able to browse via a browser. The
error above is me trying to use port 80 which is in use by the development
web server, when I was experimenting with https and http.

I had an idea today to check the permissions on the repositories folder. I
compared permissions between the old installation location and the new. It
was identical. Now that I know how to change repository locations, I
changed it back to the old location (c:\Repositories) just to see if that
worked. It didn't: Visual Studio refuses to authenticate me.

I realize there are many, many components involved. My first impulse would
be to say, "there's something wrong with Ankh or Visual Studio." Except
the only thing that I changed yesterday was the VisualSVN Server. Now, it
could be a networking thing, blocked ports or whatnot. Maybe. But my
impression is that VisualSVN Server installation makes this "easy" and
should be handling these things? I don't know what the server needs.

And the weirdest thing: how is it that Chrome or Firefox or IE can talk to
the server no problem but Ankh cannot?
