As might be evident from my second post my .zip extraction is obviously
broken. My unzip util reports:
$ unzip -v
UnZip: Zipfile Extract v5.0 of 21 August 1992; (c) 1989 S.H.Smith and others
Versions 3.0 and later by Info-ZIP. Bug reports ONLY to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
So I suppose I ought to upgrade (funny that I did not seem to have any
trouble with the gnupatch.zip kit though?).

Will do - and with your follow up patch. Thanks.
