Ok, I'm going out of my mind over here trying to find something I saw on the internet about a year ago. I'm hoping some of you have also seen it.
It plugs into you keyboard port and gives the computer proper signaling, tricking the computer into thinking there is a keyboard connected. They made a similar adaptor for the mouse port. I'm not looking for a KVM switch. All it was only a keyboard asic soldered onto the end of a keyboard connector. But it worked great. Some machines (most) require a keyboard to be connected.
