i'm looking to emulate my home pc from work using vncviewer.

at home i have a dsl modem, an etherfast dsl router and an xp workstation
using xp/pro

if i can get the ip address that is sent to the modem... i think i should be
able to then port through the router somehow and vnc to the workstation
desktop.

does anyone know how to do that?
If you've got a dynamic IP address then use a service like
http://www.dyndns.com/
http://www.dyndns.org/
http://www.no-ip.com/

http://directory.google.com/Top/Computers/Software/Internet/Servers/Addre
ss_Management/Dynamic_DNS_Services/

Also, make sure you tunnel through SSH for security.
