I've only noticed this on my Solaris machines. When I first try to start a vncserver or stop and restart a server session. There seems to be about 3 or 4 minutes after being stopped where you can not restart the same display.
A VNC server is already running as :9 There are no locks to be found in /tmp/.X11-unix and in about 3 or 4 minutes I can again use :9 ??? Is this a new "feature" to VNC 4?
