You actualy only need control of one firewall on either end.....

Your ISP blocks ports?  That seems somewhat strange.  I know some do,
but all ports that seems odd.

try http://www.broadbandreports.com/scan
and do a port scan on yourself  I bet your isp isnt blocking as much
as you think (unless they sell port blocking as an added feature)
