I installed VNC 4 on a new HP/UX 11 server. I can start a session then it dies after logout. I have not seen this happen on my Sun boxes or a previous HP/UX box that was running VNC 3.3.6.
I configured to run Xvnc via an XDMCP dtlogin session. The following line is I the /etc/dt/config/Xservers file (all one line in file): :5 Xvnc [EMAIL PROTECTED] root /usr/local/vnc/Xvnc :5 \ -httpd /usr/local/vnc/classes -geometry 1152x900 -cc 3 \ -depth 8 -rfbwait 120000 -rfbauth /usr/local/vnc/.vnc/passwd \ -rfbport 5905 -httpport 5805 -fp tcp/localhost:7000 \ -sp /etc/X11/SecurityPolicy -alwaysshared I run "/sbin/init.d/dtlogin.rc stop" then "/sbin/init.d/dtlogin.rc start" I run VNC viewer from windows box and everything works fine. I can end the session and re-attach but I can't logout!!
