Dave:
Heya. Everything you need to know about VNC and getting
it to work past a router is here:

http://faq.gotomyvnc.com/fom-serve/cache/63.html

Once you've got your firewall adjusted, you can test
it by running the scan here:

Please note: if you're unable to access your work PC
from the Internet, it may be that our employers want it that
way. "Breaking" their rules in any way may be counterproductive
to a long and happy career with them. :) Just FYI.

cheers,
Scott

I am trying to access my work computer from my home via the internet.

VNC works fine on the lan at work, however I can't access from the internet.

I'm a novice user of VNC and am unfamiliar with the port forwarding features
of my router.

My current settings are:

APPLICATION START END PROTOCOL IP ADDRESS ENABLED
vnc 5900 5910 Both
xxx.xxx.167.11 checked

The IP Address is the address for the local machine to which I'm trying to
connect.

Could someone please help me with what I'm doing wrong or what I'm
overlooking?
