I was wondering if there is, or if we can start, a master (SOHO) router list identifying features and problems. Here is what I have in mind:
I recently bought three Netgear wireless routers (one for myself and one each for my parents and my wife's parents). As it turns out, the wired part works great with VNC, but not any computers connected wirelessly. I've seen several posts regarding this problem on this list. It seems, however, that Linksys routers do work fine with VNC over wireless. On the other hand, Netgear has a nice feature that in DHCP mode you can reserve addresses based on MAC. Some D-Links and Linksys routers don't seem to have this feature, which may be useful to many. So, what's the best way to list router models and pros and cons for each.
