When nobody's logged on, there's no tray icon!
It sounds like you're running it in user mode. If you run it as a service, then you should be able to connect regardless of a user being logged on.
I don't recall whether the free version has the option to run it as a service, so failing that you could opt to try using SrvAny, FireDaemon, or just upgrading to Enterprise. _______________________________________________
