Hmmmmmmmmmmm...... I've had it (with exactly the same symptoms each
time -depending on whether clicking or moving cursor) on my duo and
on an iMac 333 (blueberry!) and iMac DV 400 (Ruby) running 8.1 (duo),
8.5.1 (iMac 333) and 9.0.4 (iMac 400).

It seemed somewhat more difficult on the iMacs (the Duo I can make it
happen within 30s almost every time, the iMacs it might take a minute
or two with the server in front all the time, and random movements and
clicking on the server windows and opening the about box and settings
etc). It seems to happen more often with a click on the iMacs (but the
Duo was about 50:50 between clicks and just 'mousing').

I wonder if it might be to do with the app getting more time when it's
in front and going into its task loop during the SystemTask patch?
Anyway, I've added (yet another) reentrancy check in vncPatches68k-a3
(see link in last e-mail).

It will take me a while to check it (I'm at home now, so I will have
to install it onto my duo, which is at Imperial, over the net - using
VNC of course, on a 28k modem line, then restart it remotely and hope
that everything comes back OK... it has done every other time so far!)
and of course if it crashes once then I can't check it again till I
actually go there!

OK, can anyone else using this server duplicate this crashing?
Or is it just getting fed up with *me*?!

Bye!

Adrian
