I wouldn't imagine many people have tried running windows '95 on a 386, let
alone VNC! I get the impression from this forum, and website, that win 3.1
isn't supported.

I do know what '95 on a 486/66 is like (not too bad, though I haven't tried
VNC!) and I've tried running linux and VNC on a 486/100 which was a bit
sluggish, so I'd project that if you did get windows and vnc onto a 386, it
would be very painful. Main problem with 386's is lack of memory - I think
they can support 16mb, but that won't be common. A pentium with only 4mb of
RAM is going to be pretty slow as well!
