occasional prompt, eg. when connecting to a new machine, and blaring great
banners when it detects something is seriously (or subtly) wrong, and the
ever-present prompt for a password. I don't see any reason why the same
kind of user-interface couldn't be presented in VNC clients. After all,
there is already one password prompt...
