Firstly may I apologise if this has already been covered. I've tried to find
it in FAQ and in the lists but without success. I would appreciate help with
the following:
I am trying to access a friends Win98SE PC from my Win2000 PC using VNC. I
have installed Dial-up server on his PC and set up a dial up connection on
mine. When I dial his PC the modems connect and I am presented with a Dialog
box asking for UserName, Password and Logon Domain. I do not know what to
enter for any of these (I tried setting his Dial Up Server to have a
password or not but I couldn't get in either way). As I can't make a proper
connection I can't hover to gat a TCPIP address for viewer. Windows help was
a little use as usual so I'd appreciate it if someone could walk me through
the setting up of both ends.
