I am trying to use VNC to log on the a Windows 98SE PC from my Windows 2000
Pro PC. I would appreciate help with the following:

1 When using the Make New Connection wizard in Win 2000 what type of Network
Connection should I select? Is it Dial-up Private Network even though I am
connecting directly (albeit over a modem) to another PC? What other settings
should I set in this wizard?

2 The Windows 98 PC is a standalone PC with no users or Windows passwords
set up. Dial-up Network Server has a password set. What Username and
password should I set in the connection dialog on my Win 2000 PC and do I
need to fill in a Domain?

The help on the VNC site glosses over this part of the connection and my
knowledge is insufficient to work it out - especially as every failed try
costs me #0.10 from BT. Any help would be much appreciated.
