I just recently started looking into the WinVNC program and I am quite
impressed as to what it can do. The organisation that I work with is
presently using Novell's Zenworks remote control feature that ,quite
honestly, doesn't work very well. The only good things about it is that it
is very secure and answers the privacy issues that upper management had.
What I mean by privacy is that whenever a workstation is being controlled
remotely, there's a small window that appear on the desktop telling the user
that the workstation is being controlled remotely and who is controlling it.
Upper management feared that their workstations could be accessed without
them knowing but this little window satisfied them. In addition, the user
had to manually run the agent so that the remote control could work. My
question to you is: Does WinVNC have a similar type window or does an add-on
exist that can do this? Also, since I work for a canadian government
department with fairly strict language policies, is WinVNC available in
french?

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
