Hi all,
I checked the list archives, and it appears that I'm having a similar problem
to the message at:
http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/archives/1998-07/0022.html, but mine is
backwards from Dave's.

This messages appears not to offer a resolution, so I thought I would write
and see if I could get some help.

I'm running RH7 GNU/Linux and connecting to a Win2k Advanced Server system.
The viewer on my Linux box is from the 3.3.3r2 package, and the server on my
Windows box is 3.3.3r9.

BTW, if you type 'vncviewer --help' at the shell prompt, instead of reading
3.3.3r1, it reads 3.3.3r2. I've triple checked this, and yes, the vncviewer
from the 3.3.3r2 package offers the wrong version number.

What is happening is that my left sift key is being ignored, and my right
shift key is "sticking". Pressing it again (and again and again ;^) doesn't
"toggle" it... I have to close out of the remote application that I'm in and
reopen the application. This is not "server wide" but application specific!
Once I reopen the remote application on Win2k, it seems to be back to normal,
albeit without the ability to effectively select text using shift+arrow keys.

Any help is sincerely appreciated.

-Steven
