I've seen that before too. Sometimes the client and server lose their
communication and the screen doesn't get updated, that might explain the
multiple mice. Have you tried closing the client and trying to establish a
connection again? If so, and it didn't work, your server WinVNC.exe might
have locked up, as mine did.

Scenario:
I a running WinVNC 3.3.3 R2 on a Windows 2000 machine. The machine is set
in
standby mode, configured for Wakeup on LAN. When i'm running the VNC viewer
to connect to the PC from home, the connection can be established.
But when sending ctrl-alt-del to get the logon screen, nothing happens.
When
moving the mouse, several mouse cursors are displayed on the screen.
Question:
What is happening here? Why can i not get control and work with the PC? Any
answers are welcome.
