Hi Andrew,
I have been kicking this scenario around in my little brain for a couple of
days now. What about using a script with an onLoad/unLoad to send this data,
and other kinds possibly, to a HTML/db/CGI form construct that holds the
pertinent info? If a proximity sensor was attached to an Avatar as it
entered the world to keep track of this sort of relevant data would it not
be possible for it to send its postion/orientation to a form when
disembarking from a world? or even other forms of data? I am going to maybe
attempt a PROTO that does this. It maybe awhile and there may be others of
you here that know more than me about this sort of stuff but I think it
should be doable. If I am on the wrong track someone please tell me.

can't find the original post but I asked about using cookies and I got a
reply
from a guy who tried it sucessfully :) I have asked for an example if
possible.
This would be ideal to record last translation rotation data and to
interrogate
it on next login
